FlightView Announces the Release of A New Upgrade of Dispatch Featuring Automated Alerts and Enhanced Weather

Dispatch

FlightView announces the release of Dispatch 4.4, a new upgrade to the popular Dispatch flight tracking program. Airlines, airports/FBOs, business aviation and ground transportation customers rely on Dispatch to keep their operations on time and on budget.

FlightView has been providing accurate, reliable real-time flight status information for over 10 years through Dispatch. As the industry has evolved, so has Dispatch. The latest version offers exciting new features including:

  • Alerts Manager for automated email and desktop messages.
  • New, even easier to use Filter Manager for flight selection.
  • Enhanced weather with SIGMETS, AIRMETS, tops information and more.

Taking advantage of the prevalence of email-enabled mobile devices, the new Alerts Manager provides reliable, unassisted notification of flight status to multiple email addresses per event, as well as the PC Desktop of the user. Triggers for alerts are set by the Dispatch 4.4 user and include take-off, landing, time-to-land, diversion and more. With a maximum of 1,000 flights, Alerts can handle even the most complex tracking situation. Send email alerts to employees, crew and vendors or rely on desktop alert to initiate communication with everyone who needs to know the status of the flight(s).

Dispatch users track flights or airports or both and the new, improved Filter Manager has been redesigned so customers needing to manage by fleet or by location can do so more easily than before. Use the Notes Manager to add custom information to flights or airports and all the information needed to manage flights or operations are quickly available in one application.

Users asked and FlightView delivered. Airline and corporate flight dispatchers requested more detailed weather information for their dispatching needs and FlightView now offers an enhanced weather package, only available with Dispatch 4.4. Our enhanced weather package includes SIGMETS, AIRMETS, icing, turbulence, convective movement, cloud tops and more. These weather features help flight dispatchers keep ahead of bad weather so they can reroute aircraft, change filed flight plans or select new airports for local diversions.

As always, upgrades to Dispatch 4.4 are free to current customers and for new customers Dispatch 4.4 subscription fees are the same as for Dispatch 4.3. The new enhanced weather is available for a modestly increased fee over the standard weather and is only available with version 4.4 software. Contact your FlightView representative to upgrade the software, the weather and your operations.
