Little Rock National Airport (LIT), Arkansas' largest commercial service airport, added their second FlightView Monitor in a large waiting area on the first level of their terminal, next to the Visitor Information Booth. The FlightView Monitor is accompanied by a four time zone clock and weather. Little Rock has also updated the installation on their original FlightView Monitor located on the second level near the Customer Care Center with a four time zone clock.

Philip Launius, LRNA Director of Public Affairs, says, "FlightView's data accuracy and reliability have built our comfort level very quickly and the phenomenal response we have received from our travelers on the FlightView Monitor has compelled us to install the second one. We feel it will be an added boost to our customer service, which will make for an even better travel experience for our 1.3 million passengers annually."

FlightView Monitor is a web-based, geographical display of aircraft information based on actual, real-time F.A.A. radar and other data sources with moving weather. Many airports nationwide have jumped on the FlightView Monitor bandwagon and travelers love it because there is no guessing game - they know exactly where their planes are.

Little Rock National's Executive Director, Deborah Schwartz says, "The airport is constantly working to improve the level of customer service at Little Rock National. This additional flight status map is only the latest customer service enhancement at the airport. Our goal is for each of our customers to have an exemplary airport experience and we are determined to meet and exceed that goal."

Little Rock National is considered a major "front door" to the city of Little Rock and to the state of Arkansas, so it is critical for passengers to have a positive travel experience when they travel through LRNA. With air traffic of more than 150 flight arrivals and departures each day, Little Rock also provides non-stop jet service to 18 national and international gateway cities, making it truly one stop away from the world.
