BOSTON (Mar. 05, 2013) - FlightView, the developer of the most trusted and reliable flight tracking apps for the iPhone and Android, has released version 2.2 of its top-ranked iPhone app.
FlightView 2.2 is the first step in enabling users to customize the flight and airport information they receive and more holistically manage travel plans. Travelers can now create user profiles on FlightView.com or in their iPhone app, and specify their home airport and preferred airline. These preferences result in a new custom view of critical day-of-travel information for their home airport and next trip, including:
- Current delay status and weather conditions for their airport
- Quick links to arrival and departure flight boards for their airport (FlightView Elite only)
- Details for the user's next trip, and weather conditions for his/her destination(s).
